The San Antonio Spurs will be without Manu Ginobili for a while
Manu Ginobili will miss the next two months after having surgery to repair his left ankle. This will hurt the Spurs who feed off of his energy and hustle. He played in 74 games (23 starts) last season for the Spurs and he averaged 31.0 minutes, 19.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Ginobili also shot 40.1% from the 3-point line last season and he will be very hard to replace. Roger Mason, Ime Udoka and Salim Stoudamire will have to step up to help replace Ginobili’s production.
