The San Antonio Spurs sign Chris Quinn

The Spurs have signed 27-year old point guard Chris Quinn. Quinn played in 25 games (0 starts) for the Nets last year and he averaged 8.9 minutes, 2.2 points, 0.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He has now played in 193 games (26 starts) in his four years in the NBA and he has averaged 15.2 minutes, 5.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Too make room on the roster for Quinn the Spurs have cut 30-year old small forward Bobby Simmons. Simmons played in 2 games for the Spurs this year and he averaged 8.0 minutes and 1.0 assist per game. Simmons didn’t get a rebound or score in his time with the Spurs this season.

    Chris Quinn has been playing off and on so far this year. He is a good player and is working to get better. He has an excellent long ball.
