Blair is shooting 53% from the floor as most of his shots come from in close to the basket. He still is having issues with free throws as he is only hitting 56.7% from that distance. Blair is a tough guy around the basket and he’s a good complement to Tim Duncan.

The Spurs have signed 29-year old Boris Diaw for the remainder of the season. Diaw can handle playing any position on the basketball court. He played in 37 games (28 starts) for the Bobcats earlier this year and he averaged 27.5 minutes, 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. Diaw has now played in 660 games (461 starts) in his first 9 years in the NBA and he is averaging 30.3 minutes, 9.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. His versatility is going to be what really helps the Spurs down the stretch. I love this signing for them.

The Spurs have signed 23-year old point guard Patrick Mills to a 2-year deal. Mills played in 64 games (0 starts) for the Blazers last year and he averaged 12.2 minutes, 5.5 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. He has now played in 74 games (0 starts) in his first two years in the NBA and he has averaged 11.1 minutes, 5.1 points, 0.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. This was a solid move for the Spurs as Mills has a lot of potential.
