The Spurs were outrebounded 57-43 last night and they only shot 37.8% from the floor, but it didn’t matter as they played outstanding D in holding the Jazz to a paltry 36.4% shooting from the floor. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 27 minutes on the floor. Tim Duncan (11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots), Tony Parker (11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) and Gary Neal (11 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 18 minutes) also had solid games for the Spurs last night. Tiago Splitter pitched in with 10 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals in this game. The Spurs have swept the Jazz out of the first round of the playoffs and they await either the Los Angeles Clippers or the Memphis Grizzlies in Round #2 of the playoffs.
