The Spurs have re-signed 25-year old SG/SF Danny Green to a 3-year, $12 million dollar deal. Green played in 66 games (38 starts) for the Spurs last year and he averaged 23.1 minutes, 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He has now played in 74 games (38 starts) in his first two years with the Spurs and he is averaging 21.8 minutes, 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Green has now played in 94 games (38 starts) in his first three years in the NBA and he is averaging 18.4 minutes, 7.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. This was a good move for the Spurs as Green really showed what he could do last season when given the shot to play.
