Danny Green is off to a blazing start in February for the San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs have playing without Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan lately, but 25-year old SG/SF Danny Green has been picking up the slack so far this month. He has played in 4 games (all starts) for the Spurs so far this month and he is averaging 30.8 minutes, 18.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocked shots per game. Green has now played in 50 games (all starts) overall this year and he is averaging 27.2 minutes, 10.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Green is shooting a solid 44.8% from the floor, 42.9% from three point range and 85% from the free throw line, so he has been a really efficient shooter so far this year for the Spurs. The Spurs need Green to keep playing like he is right now until Ginobili returns to action.
