Small forward Sean Elliott was a darn good player for the San Antonio Spurs. Elliott played in 669 games (639 starts) in his 11 years with the Spurs and he averaged 33.0 minutes, 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. He also played in 85 games (73 starts) in the playoffs for the Spurs in which he averaged 33.4 minutes, 13.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Elliott was a big part of the 1998-99 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs! He was also an All-Star twice in his 11 years with the Spurs. His best year (and one of his All-Star years) came back in 1995-96, when he played in 77 games (all starts) for the Spurs in which he averaged 37.7 minutes, 20.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He shot a rock solid 46.6% from the floor, 41.1% from three point range and 77.1% from the free throw line in 1995-96 for the Spurs! Elliott is still #5 in Spurs’ history in three pointers made with 563 of them. He is also still #6 in games played (669), #10 in defensive rebounds (2,190) and he is still #8 in points scored (9,659) in Spurs’ history.
