Game #4: San Antonio Spurs 116, Memphis Grizzlies 95

The San Antonio Spurs totally demolished the Grizzlies today, as they knocked them out of the playoffs!  The Spurs shot 50% from the floor, 45.5% from three point range and 83.9% from the free throw line in this game!  Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Spurs today with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots.  Tony Parker (16 points and 2 assists in 21 minutes on the floor) and LaMarcus Aldridge (15 points, 10 rebounds and 1 steal) also had rock solid games for the Spurs today!  David West was inspired off the bench with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in 20 minutes off the bench.  The Spurs sweep the Grizzlies in four games and now they wait for the winner of the Thunder/Mavericks’ series.

Game #3: San Antonio Spurs 96, Memphis Grizzlies 87

The Grizzlies came to play last night and it wasn’t until the San Antonio Spurs outscored them 26-16 in the 4th quarter that they finally put them away.  Kawhi Leonard was unstoppable on both ends of the basketball court last night as he finished up with 32 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 5 blocked shots!  LaMarcus Aldridge also had a big game with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.  Danny Green (11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots) and Manu Ginobili (11 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal in 27 minutes off the bench) also pitched in for the Spurs last night.  The Spurs are now up 3-0 on the Grizzlies!

Game #2: San Antonio Spurs 94, Memphis Grizzlies 68

The San Antonio Spurs destroyed the hapless Grizzlies on both ends of the basketball court tonight!  The defense was awesome, as they held the Grizzlies to 32.6% shooting from the floor and 14.3% shooting from three point range!  Offensively, the Spurs shot 47% from the floor, 52.9% from three point range and 82.1% from the free throw line!  Patty Mills led the way for the Spurs in this game with 16 points and 2 assists in 19 minutes off the bench.  Kawhi Leonard (13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot in 27 minutes) and LaMarcus Aldridge (10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in 27 minutes) also pitched in with solid games tonight.  Kevin Martin made the most of his time on the floor against the Grizzlies, as he finished up with 10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 17 minutes on the floor.  The Spurs are up 2-0 as this series moves to Memphis.

The San Antonio Spurs completely destroyed the Grizzlies last night!  It was never a game!  The Spurs shot 51.9% from the floor, 43.5% from the three point line and 92.3% from the free throw line…..as they were very efficient offensively!  The Spurs also out-rebounded the Grizzlies 44-35 and they held them to 39.2% shooting from the floor!  Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Spurs in this game with 20 points, 2 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocked shots in 29 minutes on the floor.  LaMarcus Aldridge was also smooth last night with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in 27 minutes on the floor.  Tony Parker looked like his old self with 15 points, 1 rebound and 6 assists in 21 minutes on the floor.  Patty Mills (15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 19 minutes) and Kevin Martin (10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 12 minutes) were great off the bench for the Spurs last night.  The Spurs are now up 1-0 on the Grizzlies in this series!

Game #7: Miami Heat 95, San Antonio Spurs 88

The Spurs left it all on the floor last night against the Heat and they just fell a tad short in the end.  They were outscored 23-17 in the 4th quarter and they only shot 37.8% from the floor last night and it’s hard to win that way.  Tim Duncan had another huge game with 24 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 blocked shot to lead the way for the Spurs.  Kawhi Leonard (19 points, 16 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) and Manu Ginobili (18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists) also had solid games last night.  Tony Parker had a rough night, shooting only 3 of 12 from the floor, as he finished up with 10 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.  The Spurs lost the NBA Finals 4-3 to the NBA Champion Miami Heat.

Game #6: Miami Heat 103, San Antonio Spurs 100 in O.T.

The Spurs were up 75-65 after three quarters last night, before imploding in the 4th quarter and overtime.  Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs last night with 30 points, 17 rebounds and 1 steal.  Kawhi Leonard also had a solid game with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals.  Tony Parker only shot 6 of 23 from the floor in this game, but he still finished up with 19 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals.  The Spurs and Heat are all tied up at three games apiece with a winner take all game this Thursday Night in Miami.

Game #5: San Antonio Spurs 114, Miami Heat 104

The Spurs shot 60% from the floor and it helped them hold off the Heat last night.  Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 26 points, 1 rebound and 5 assists.  Manu Ginobili (24 points, 2 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 steal) and Danny Green (24 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots on 6 of 10 shooting from three point range) also had huge impacts on this game for the Spurs.  Tim Duncan (17 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 blocked shots) and Kawhi Leonard (16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals) also pitched in with big games as they ruled the paint last night.  The Spurs are now up 3-2 in this series as it shifts back to Miami for Games (#6) and #7 (if needed).

Game #4: Miami Heat 109, San Antonio Spurs 93

The Spurs were outscored 60-44 in the second half last night and they didn’t play any D as the Heat shot 52.9% from the floor, which did them in.  Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.  Tony Parker (15 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 steal), Gary Neal (13 points and 3 rebounds in 31 minutes), Kawhi Leonard (12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and Danny Green (10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Spurs last night.  The Spurs and Heat are all tied up at two games apiece in this series.

Game #3: San Antonio Spurs 113, Miami Heat 77

The Spurs took it to the Heat in the second half last night when they outscored them 63-33 to surge to victory.  They also out-rebounded the Heat 52-36 and that was a big factor in this game.  Danny Green led the way for the Spurs last night with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.  Green shot an amazing 7 of 9 from three point range in this game.  Gary Neal was also a force for the Spurs in his 25 minutes off the bench as he scored 24 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and he dished out 3 assists.  Neal was also a red hot 6 of 10 from three point range.  Kawhi Leonard (14 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals) and Tim Duncan (12 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocked shots) provided the muscle for the Spurs last night.  The Spurs are now up 2-1 in this series.

Game #2: Miami Heat 103, San Antonio Spurs 84

The Spurs out-rebounded the Heat 44-36 last night, but they ran into a buzzsaw in the second half when they were outscored 57-39.  Danny Green led the way for the Spurs last night with 17 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.  Tony Parker (13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Gary Neal (10 points and 2 rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench) also helped out.  Tim Duncan (9 points, 11 rebounds and 1 assist in 30 minutes) and Kawhi Leonard (9 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) combined to shoot a pretty terrible 7 of 25 from the floor.  The Spurs are tied up at one game apiece with the Heat as the series shifts to San Antonio for Games #3, #4 and #5.
