The Spurs have essentially the same team as they had last year set to go in 2012-13, and that is a good thing. Shooting guard Nando DeColo has come to the states to play for the Spurs as their latest import from across the big pond. I think the Spurs are going to win at least 55 games in 2012-13, so I would bet on the over as far as wins go.
The Spurs were 50-32 last season so the linesmakers are banking on them having another year just like 2009-10. The Spurs have basically the same team as last year except for Tiago Splitter and rookie shooting guard James Anderson. Still, I think they are going to be better with a healthy Tony Parker so if I had to make a bet on the Spurs this year I would take the over. The Spurs are also 30-1 to win the NBA Championship this year and that’s pretty good value.
The Spurs have added players like Antonio McDyess and Richard Jefferson to the starting lineup and that will make the Spurs even more impossible to deal with this season. The Spurs are locked and loaded with their sites on winning another NBA Championship and that means they will be very focused during the regular season. I like the Spurs to go way over 54 wins this season as I’m projecting 60+ wins for them this season. Take the over with the Spurs this season with confidence.
